Job Description Homeowners Construction Law is a new and growing division of Croessmann & Westberg, P.C. dedicated exclusively to protecting homeowners in disputes with residential contractors, builders, and developers. We represent clients in matters involving defective construction, contract disputes, project delays, mechanic's liens, payment disputes, warranty claims, and other construction-related litigation.We are seeking a motivated and ambitious attorney with 3–5 years of litigation experience to join our team. Construction law experience is helpful but not required. We are looking for an attorney who enjoys advocating for clients, taking ownership of cases, and developing into a skilled trial lawyer.What You'll Do As an Associate Litigation Attorney, you will manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution, including:Conducting client consultations and developing litigation strategyDrafting pleadings, motions, and discoveryTaking and defending depositionsArguing motions in courtParticipating in mediations and settlement negotiationsWorking with construction experts and consultantsPreparing cases for trial, arbitration, and evidentiary hearingsMaintaining regular communication with clients throughout their mattersOur attorneys are given significant responsibility from day one and are expected to play an active role in every phase of litigation.
