A leading provider of engineering services is seeking a Vice President, Talent Management to lead talent and organizational development initiatives. The ideal candidate is a senior HR leader with experience in talent management and leadership development.

Salary + Additional Benefits:

Responsibilities:
  • Direct leadership of: HR Business Partners, Talent Management, Learning & Development team.
  • Develop and execute a talent and organizational effectiveness strategy aligned with overall business goals and value creation.
  • Partner with the CHRO and executive leadership to build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Align people strategies with growth plans, scalability, and profitability objectives.
  • Lead all people-related aspects of M&A integration, including organizational alignment, leadership effectiveness, and cultural integration.
  • Work with leadership to assess organizational structures and efficiently integrate acquired teams.
  • Establish consistent talent and leadership practices across newly acquired businesses.
  • Support change management initiatives related to acquisitions, restructuring, and company growth.
  • Oversee the HR Business Partner function, ensuring strong alignment with regional and operational leaders.
  • Lead and develop the HRBP team to deliver consistent, high-impact support across the organization.
  • Equip HRBPs to effectively support frontline leaders in performance management, engagement, and team effectiveness.
  • Drive enterprise-wide talent management processes, including performance reviews, succession planning, and career development.
  • Build and strengthen internal talent pipelines, especially for field leadership and critical roles.
  • Create programs that prepare high-potential employees for leadership opportunities.
  • Improve succession readiness for key operational and technical positions.
  • Design and implement a scalable learning and development strategy for a distributed workforce.
  • Ensure training programs enhance both technical skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Provide managers and supervisors with the tools needed to lead effectively, drive results, and maintain safety standards.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve training programs based on business impact.
  • Lead organizational design efforts to improve efficiency, clarity, and scalability.
  • Drive change management strategies that support growth, transformation, and integration efforts.
  • Use workforce data and insights to improve productivity, engagement, and retention.
  • Partner with HR leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of key initiatives.
  • Align talent development efforts with onboarding and workforce planning strategies.
  • Directly lead HR Business Partners, Talent Management, and Learning & Development teams.
  • Build and lead a practical, business-focused HR team that delivers measurable results in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (Master’s a plus)
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership of HRBP and talent functions
  • Experience in high-growth, private equity-backed, or service-based organizations preferred
  • Background supporting M&A integration and organizational growth
  • Proven ability to develop leaders in field-based or distributed environments
  • Strong business and operational mindset
  • Ability to influence and build credibility with leaders at all levels
  • Experience with organizational design and leading change initiatives
  • Leadership development experience in technical or field environments
  • Data-driven approach with a focus on results
