At BlackRock, the Regulatory Disclosure Operations team works alongside legal, product and financial reporting units to prepare prospectuses and other regulatory documents for mutual funds and ETFs.  The team drives the on-time delivery of precise and detailed regulatory filings from the beginning of each fund. We accomplish this through building scalable procedures to accommodate BlackRock’s growing suite of products and by coordinating both in-house and outside collaborators.

As a member of the regulatory disclosure operations team, you are integral to the core workflow of producing prospectuses. Our role is to ensure that these documents contain accurate and relevant qualitative and quantitative information for investors’ decision making. You will work across BlackRock’s registered funds to coordinate filing schedules, collect data and disclosure updates from diverse internal and external teams, and update and circulate drafts ahead of SEC submissions. Additionally, you will support initiatives to enhance the filing process, aiming to lower risk and streamline operations.  

Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to

• Use content management platform to prepare registration statement updates and other filings in an accurate and timely manner

• Develop and adhere to filings calendars and team schedules and drive accountability of all teams in filing lifecycle

• Understand how your work integrates into the responsibilities of the team and engage in ad-hoc projects to support team goals

• Support the strong governance and control framework in place across BlackRock with robust procedures to meet all regulatory rules and statutory obligations

• Provide oversight of outsourced functions including review performance of the service providers, and evaluate control environments

• Use a proactive approach to drive continuous process improvements and incorporate regulatory changes

• Foster strong team relationships with collaborators and facilitate frequent and open communication; educate partner teams on process/workflow

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

The candidate should have exceptional analytical, written and verbal communication skills. They need strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. The candidate must work reliably independently and with the team. This job requires managing multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, global environment. • An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience from an accredited college or university is required, with 6-10 years of experience in an operations role or the investment management/ financial services industry. Knowledge of SEC rules and regulations is beneficial.

• Skilled in project management and organization, understanding team dynamics, setting priorities in multitasking

• Highly dedicated; willing to take ownership of issues and follow through to resolution

• Emphasize critical thinking and adopt a strategic approach to problem solving, efficiency and process improvement while supporting the team’s best interests

• Proficiency in oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate in a variety of circumstances with cross functional teams

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

• Experience with prospectus content management systems a plus

For Wilmington, DE Only the salary range for this position is USD$117,500.00 - USD$173,500.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
