Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic operational plans for U.S. manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with SBU goals and customer expectations.

  • Oversee the financial performance of all U.S. Specialty Components sites, including budgeting, forecasting, and full P&L, to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.

  • Develop and execute capital investment strategies across U.S. sites to support operational needs and future customer programs.

  • Lead standardization of operational processes, KPIs, and reporting across sites to ensure efficiency, scalability, and consistent performance.

  • Partner with the President of the SBU to identify and implement operational improvements and scalable growth opportunities.

  • Oversee and support Site Plant Managers in driving performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.

  • Optimize labor, equipment, and capacity utilization across the U.S. footprint to support customer demand and business growth.

  • Improve cost-site alignment by implementing consistent cost control measures and driving operational synergies between sites.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Program Management, and Business Development teams to support customer onboarding, technical transfer, and delivery expectations.

  • Serve as a key operational representative in customer meetings and audits, building trust and responsiveness through operational transparency and execution.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and external partners to ensure continuity of supply, operational reliability, and cost effectiveness across all U.S. sites.

  • Foster a culture of safety, integrity, and continuous improvement, ensuring adherence to HSE, FDA, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulations.

  • Champion workforce development and succession planning in coordination with HR and the site leadership teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field required.

  • Graduate Degree (e.g., MBA or technical Master’s) preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments.

  • Proven success leading multi-site operations and cross-functional teams, including direct customer engagement.

  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L ownership, capital project execution, and cost control.

  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational standardization practices.

  • Knowledge of FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, and other relevant regulatory requirements.

  • Effective communicator and leader with a demonstrated ability to influence internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Able to navigate a matrixed organization and build alignment across global and regional teams.

  • Frequent travel required between U.S. manufacturing sites (~30–40%).
