Responsibilities

Position Overview
The Vice President of Sales and Business Development is a senior commercial executive responsible for expanding Cascade Engineering Technologies’ position as a strategic manufacturing partner to aerospace OEMs.

This role is designed for a leader with deep OEM experience who understands how OEMs make sourcing decisions, allocate workshare, manage risk, and award long-term production programs.

The VP will leverage firsthand knowledge of OEM procurement, supply chain, engineering, and program management organizations to secure long-term, high-value business opportunities.

This executive will translate OEM requirements into commercially sound opportunities while advising CET leadership on where and how to invest for sustained growth.

Growth Opportunity to multi plant Executive Leader

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead OEM-focused sales and business development strategy, targeting long-term production programs and platform-level opportunities.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new OEM business aligned with CET’s manufacturing capabilities, capacity roadmap, and strategic objectives.
  • Serve as the executive-level commercial interface with OEM customers, including Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Program leadership.
  • Navigate complex OEM sourcing processes, including RFIs, RFPs, gated reviews, and multi-year award cycles
  • Lead capture and proposal strategy for OEM programs, ensuring disciplined pricing, risk assessment, and alignment with program life-cycle economics.
  • Drive negotiations of Long-Term Agreements (LTAs), pricing frameworks, and escalation mechanisms typical of OEM contracts.
  • Provide OEM-specific market insight on platform outlooks, rate changes, make-buy strategies, and supplier consolidation trends.
  • Maintain rigorous alignment between OEM bookings, production forecasts, and CET’s operational and capital planning.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to ensure CET meets OEM performance, compliance, and delivery expectations.
  • Representing CET at OEM executive reviews, supplier councils, and industry forums.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive commercial leadership in the aerospace industry, with direct OEM experience strongly preferred.

Ideal candidates have held roles within an OEM or have led OEM-facing sales for Tier 1 suppliers.

  • Demonstrated understanding of OEM sourcing models, workshare allocation, and program life-cycle economics.
  • Established executive-level relationships within major aerospace OEMs.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent business education preferred.
  • Proven success negotiating complex OEM contracts, including LTAs and multi-year production agreements.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to evaluate program profitability across development, ramp-up, and full-rate production.
  • Executive presence with the credibility to influence OEM decision-makers and internal leadership teams.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • The position is 100% onsite.
