Job Description:
Join our team in a hybrid setting based in New York, NY.
This full-time role involves leading regulatory change management processes, ensuring compliance with emerging regulations, and utilizing general productivity tools for effective communication and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze regulatory bodies and industry trends to identify potential impacts on the organization.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of emerging regulations, particularly in capital and liquidity, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Lead impact assessments and provide advisory and thought leadership across all business lines and stakeholders.
Engage with industry associations to stay informed on supervisory trends and coordinate organizational positions on regulatory matters.
Maintain and update the organization's regulatory library.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in law, business, or related field; JD or similar law degree highly preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in regulatory compliance within US financial institutions, focusing on rule implementation and horizon scanning.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and financial institutions' operations.
Proven ability to analyze and communicate regulatory changes effectively.
Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
