About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Product to take on a pivotal executive role in leading a portfolio of defense modeling and simulation solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for product strategy that supports mission rehearsal, distributed training, and operational readiness for government customers. This role demands a leader with a deep understanding of the complexities involved in building and sustaining defense products, including funded programs, evolving customer requirements, and rigorous quality expectations. The VP of Product will be expected to bring strong technical depth, product judgment, and the ability to align roadmap decisions with contract delivery and real-world mission value. Experience in defense, aerospace, or other mission-critical environments where real-time systems and long lifecycle sustainment are essential is a must.Key responsibilities for the VP of Product include owning the roadmap direction, guiding product managers, and driving product decisions in environments shaped by interoperability and multi-system integration. The role also involves working closely with engineering and program leadership to ensure product commitments are met within government contract constraints. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, with an advanced degree preferred, and significant leadership experience in product management or development within the specified sectors. Familiarity with defense simulation standards and experience in program-aligned environments are crucial. The VP of Product will be expected to have a strong business acumen, modern product and engineering workflow knowledge, and executive-level communication skills to influence both technical teams and senior leadership.
