Vice President of Partnerships + Building Nebraska + Omaha
We're partnering with a high-impact initiative focused on attracting and retaining top talent right here in Nebraska. This is a rare opportunity to step into a true "build and influence" leadership role from day one. This is a mission-driven effort designed to connect high-potential college students with meaningful, career-shaping experiences that keep them rooted in Nebraska for the long-term. And, youll be at the center of it all spearheading the strategic partnerships.
What You'll Own
This role is all about relationships, influence, and execution. You'll be the connector between universities, employers, and emerging talent, ensuring the entire ecosystem works seamlessly.
Partnership Leadership
- Serve as the primary relationship owner with organizational partners across the state
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders
- Collaborate to create meaningful, experience-based opportunities for students
Program Execution & Experience
- Help match high caliber students with mentors and immersive professional experiences
- Partner with university leaders to ensure alignment and a consistent student experience
- Act as a key voice in shaping how the program evolves and grows
Operations & Infrastructure
- Lead implementation and ongoing use of a CRM to track partnerships, participants, and outcomes
- Establish processes for data accuracy, reporting, and stakeholder management
Strategy & Financial Partnership
- Work closely with executive leadership to drive long-term growth and sustainability
- Contribute to budgeting, financial planning, and program scalability
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in partnership development, program leadership, or a related space
- A natural ability to build relationships and influence at the executive level
- Strong communication skills, you can connect just as effectively with students as you can with CEOs
- Experience managing complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders
- A builder mindset. Someone who enjoys creating structure where it doesn't yet exist
