Details about the Vice President of Operations position we are hiring for:
The Vice President of Operations provides leadership and guidance to Regional Directors of Operations, Executive Directors, and other operational leaders while fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, innovation, and resident-centered care. Extensive travel to communities across the East Coast is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, Gerontology, nursing, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 7-10 years progressive leadership experience in a retirement, nursing home, or assisted living industry.
- Must be licensed in good standing if required by the State Licensing Authority.
- Proven success managing financial performance, occupancy growth, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials, State hospitals and general public.
- Must have experience overseeing multiple communities.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, team development, and succession planning skills.
- Strong analytical, financial management, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and ability to drive extensively.
- Must pass health and background check requirements.
