Our client, a Healthcare organization, is looking for a Vice President of Cardiovascular Services for their Grand Junction, CO location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provides strategic and operational leadership for the comprehensive cardiovascular service line, including the cardiac catheterization lab, cardiology clinic, and cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation programs.
  • Driving clinical excellence, operational efficiency, financial performance, and service line growth, while fostering strong physician engagement and ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction across all associated departments.
  • Provide executive leadership for all cardiovascular service line operations
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand and enhance cardiovascular services
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and quality benchmarks
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical leaders to drive patient-centered care and clinical excellence
  • Lead performance improvement initiatives and monitor key quality and outcome metrics
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams across all service areas
  • Strengthen relationships with stakeholders, including providers, staff, and client partners
 
Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field required; MBA or MHA preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in cardiology services within a healthcare setting
  • Registered Nurse (RN) strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of financial management, strategic planning, and operational leadership
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and clinical quality metrics
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
