The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing core accounting areas, including investment accounting, product accounting and reporting, group policy reporting, and transactional finance. This role demands a seasoned professional with a strong background in insurance accounting, controllership, or finance operations, and a preference for those with experience in life insurance, annuities, or asset-intensive financial services. The VP will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial reporting and operational processes, lead initiatives to enhance workflows, and identify opportunities to streamline processes and elevate team capacity.Applicants for the VP, Corporate Accounting position at the company should have a minimum of 12-18 years' experience in the relevant fields and hold a CPA, MBA, CFA, or CTP. The role requires a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and Statutory accounting, as well as a proven track record of working across multiple accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a background in investment accounting, particularly with fixed income, structured assets, and emerging strategies.
