• Personally lead and close initial enterprise deals within the first 90–120 days
• Build and manage early-stage pipeline
• Identify and develop strategic partnerships and channel opportunities
• Design and hire the initial commercial team, including Enterprise AEs and supporting roles
• Act as a player-coach, mentoring early hires while remaining hands-on in sales execution

• Partner with product and technical teams to align customer needs with product capabilities
• Translate market feedback into actionable GTM and product insights

Requirements

• Proven experience building or scaling a commercial function in the U.S.
• Strong track record of closing enterprise deals ($50K–$250K+ ACV or higher)
• Experience selling into life sciences (biotech/pharma), CROs, research/academia, or enterprise R&D environments
• Ability to operate strategically and tactically in an early-stage environment

Preferred
• Experience with AI/ML, data platforms, or research technologies
• Scientific or technical background (PhD, MS, or equivalent domain expertise)
• Experience in startup or high-growth environments
• Exposure to evidence synthesis, clinical, or research workflows

Engagement Structure
• Initial contract-to-hire engagement (3–6 months)
• Compensation may include: monthly base or draw, performance-based incentives tied to revenue or logo acquisition, and the opportunity to convert to a full-time leadership role

Success Metrics (First 6 Months)
• Delivery of a U.S. GTM strategy
• Early enterprise customer acquisition
