SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Demonstrates clinical proficiency and knowledge to effectively plan and coordinate patient care consistent with applicable standards and regulations.
Understanding of clinical operations and workflows, and how operational processes/workflows impact other department operations.
Working knowledge and thorough understanding of health care laws, licensing and accreditation requirements, and clinical standards of practice with the ability to interpret and implement applicable requirements to ensure operational compliance.
Knowledge of emerging trends and regulatory changes, and how they impact operations.
Business acumen, demonstrating the ability to establish goals and standards to meet long-term and short-term objectives and make sound business decisions.
Demonstrates credible leadership presence with the ability to respond to questions with logic, clarity, calmness, and authority; and the ability to engage others.
Demonstrates familiarity with various methods of care delivery and quality improvement concepts.
Demonstrated progressive management ability in providing administrative direction to innovative programs within the healthcare field. Written and verbal communication skills, as well as effective human resource skills, are essential.
Demonstration of effective management skills, knowledge of hospital administration, and agency compliance in patient care delivery systems.

Pay Range is $295,817.60 to $473,304.00 / annual salary. Sacramento Valley range Pay Range is $260,312.00 to $416,520.00 / annual salary.
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
