Overview:

We are seeking a Vice President of Ancillary & Support Services to provide executive leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for key hospital functions. This role oversees services including Pharmacy, Laboratory, Plant Services, Environmental Services, Clinical Engineering, Supply Chain, and Security. 

This role will drive continuous improvement in all aspects of service line strategy, safety, service delivery, and cost management, while fostering collaboration across clinical and operational teams. As a member of the Hospital Division leadership team, this role supports a high-reliability environment that advances clinical excellence and exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities   

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, service excellence, and continuous improvement 
  • Align service line goals with Hospital Division and system-wide priorities 
  • Define and monitor KPIs, benchmarks, and productivity metrics to ensure accountability and results 
  • Partner facility leadership to optimize patient care delivery and hospital throughput 
  • Drive standardization of policies, workflows, and best practices across all facilities 
  • Lead and develop directors and managers, strengthening leadership capability and accountability 
Qualifications:

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field required
  • Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, or related discipline) preferred

 

Experience 

  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience, including senior-level responsibility for hopsital operations, ancillary services, support services, or service-line leadership required
  • Demonstrated experience leading multiple hospital-based service lines or operational functions of similar scope and complexity required
  • Multi-site or system-level healthcare leadership expeirence preferred
