Opportunity Description
Seattle College District at Siegal Center is looking to hire a Vice Chancellor of Information Technology (Chief Information Officer) in the Information Technology Department. Salary Range for this position is $168,422 to $232,583 annually (depending on experience). Opportunity is open until filled, first review of materials will begin March 23rd, 2026.
Position Summary Reporting directly to the Chancellor, the Vice Chancellor and Chief Information Officer is responsible for providing effective leadership, strategic management, vision, budgeting, policy and standards, and administration for all IT related services and enterprise architecture at all three Seattle Colleges, district and other satellite sites which make up Seattle Colleges District, to support the success of students, faculty and staff. This position includes overall responsibility for system-wide IT planning, cybersecurity, risk management, data governance, project management, technology acquisition, vendor and partner management, digital transformation, and IT support services such as help desk, desktop support, enterprise-level software, and servers and networking infrastructure within Seattle Colleges. The CIO serves as a member of the Chancellors Executive Cabinet. This position directly supervises 9 IT staff (Managers and Specialists) and has indirect oversight of 41 others for a total of 50 IT staff.
This position is full-time, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, primarily 8:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. This position works a hybrid schedule of both remote and on-site work.
