We are seeking an engaging, compassionate, and customer-focused Veterinary Receptionist to join our team.
As the first point of contact for clients and their pets, receptionists play a critical role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. This position supports both our clients and veterinary team by managing front desk operations, coordinating communication, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure a smooth flow of daily appointments and services.
The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires flexibility in scheduling across our full range of operating hours as well as the ability to float between our hospital locations (all within a 15-mile radius). Schedules vary based on business needs and are not fixed week to week. This position requires consistent availability- not compatible with an in-person school schedule or long-term schedule restrictions.

Requirements
· Greet and check in clients and their pets in a warm and friendly manner
· Answer light phone calls and assist with questions regarding pets under our care
· Collect, update, and maintain electronic client and patient records
· Process payments
· Coordinate communication between clients and veterinary staff to support efficient patient flow
· Educate clients about hospital services, grooming services, products, and policies
· Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
· Provide administrative support to the veterinary team as needed
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional and compassionate demeanor
· Self-motivated while also able to work effectively as part of a team
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
· Comfortable using computer systems and technology
· Ability to maintain professionalism while managing multiple client interactions
· Flexibility to work operating hours, including some evenings, weekends, and split shifts
· Veterinary experience or familiarity with veterinary terminology is a plus

· $500 on first paycheck
· $500 upon completion of training
· $500 six months after training completion
$16.00 per hour
