Oakdale Veterinary Group is Hiring an Experienced Veterinary Technician!

Position Details

  • Role: Veterinary Technician (RVT Preferred)
  • Status: Part-Time
  • Salary: $25.00–$30.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays (8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.)

What You’ll Do

  • Provide compassionate nursing care to patients
  • Obtain patient histories and perform patient assessments
  • Examine animals and obtain vital signs in preparation for the veterinarian
  • Take and process diagnostic radiographs
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed
  • Draw blood samples and assist with diagnostic testing
  • Monitor anesthesia and surgical patients
  • Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
  • Maintain accurate medical records and support daily hospital operations
  • Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring

  • Previous veterinary technician experience required
  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential preferred
  • Strong technical and patient care skills
  • Experience with anesthesia monitoring and diagnostics preferred
