The Veterinary Technician supports veterinary care in both shelter and community clinic settings, assisting the veterinarian with examinations, spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and diagnostic testing. This role also includes preparing and monitoring patients, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring safe, humane animal handling.
This position is actively involved in our low-cost spay/neuter clinic and monthly vaccine (shot) clinics, helping provide accessible veterinary care to the public while supporting overall animal health and population control efforts. The Veterinary Technician plays a key role in promoting preventative care, disease control, and humane treatment of animals.
