Veterinary Technician Eastside Pet Clinic

Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. If you are passionate about animal health, enjoy working in a collaborative environment, and thrive in a fast-paced setting, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
  • Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostic testing.
  • Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
  • Obtain and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Educate clients on pet care, medications, nutrition, and post-treatment instructions.
  • Restrain and handle animals safely and compassionately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment area.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional patient care.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
  • Certification is highly desirable.
