Join Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital (VESH), a 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital where Veterinary Technicians play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care every shift.
Whether you’re an experienced ER Veterinary Technician or looking to grow your skills in emergency medicine, this is an opportunity to work with advanced cases, expand your technical knowledge, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and clients.
Compensation
- Non-Credentialed Veterinary Technicians: $20.00–$28.50/hour
- Credentialed Veterinary Technicians (CVT/RVT/LVT): $24.00–$29.50/hour
- VTS compensation considered based on experience and credentials
- Swing Shift (4:00pm–11:59pm): +$2.00/hour
- Overnight Shift (6:00pm–6:00am): +$2.50/hour
- Full-time, Overnights
- Weekend and holiday rotation required

- Veterinary Technology Education Scholarships
- Triage incoming emergency patients and assist with patient intake
- Obtain patient histories and communicate clearly with clients and medical team
- Assist DVMs with diagnostics, treatments, and emergency procedures
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, blood draws, and laboratory testing
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Monitor anesthesia, sedation, and hospitalized patients
- Support imaging including radiographs and CT cases
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill and hospitalized patients
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient charges
- Collaborate with emergency doctors, specialists, and fellow technicians to provide seamless patient care
- Veterinary Technician experience required
- Emergency or critical care experience strongly preferred
- CVT, RVT, or LVT preferred, but not required
- Strong technical skills including venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and patient restraint
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced emergency environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for patient care and client service
- Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
