Arizona Veterinary Dental Specialists is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our growing dental and oral surgery team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys anesthesia, surgery support, and dental procedures, and wants to build specialized skills in a supportive, team‑focused environment.

What You’ll Do

• As a Veterinary Technician on our dental team, you’ll support patient care from intake through recovery, including:
• Assisting with dental procedures and oral surgeries
• Performing dental radiographs, charting, and cleanings (scaling & polishing)
• Monitoring anesthesia and supporting patient safety throughout procedures
• Providing pre‑operative and post‑operative patient care
• Handling and restraining patients safely and compassionately
• Collecting samples and supporting diagnostics as needed
• Educating clients on at‑home dental care and procedures
• Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment notes
• Supporting hospital workflow and maintaining a clean, organized environment

What We’re Looking For

Required

• Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician or assistant experience with direct patient care
• Comfortable with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment

Preferred

• LVT/RVT/CVT preferred
• Experience in dentistry, surgery, or anesthesia
• Familiarity with dental radiology and dental procedures
