Veterinary Technical Support Specialist

Pay Rate: $24 - $26.79/hour, paid weekly
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM EST
Location: Johns Creek, GA 30097 (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
Duration: 1-Year Contract


Summary

Support customers and internal teams by managing veterinary product complaints, adverse event documentation, reimbursements, product returns, and replacement requests. This position is ideal for veterinary professionals looking to transition from clinical practice into a hybrid corporate environment while continuing to make an impact on animal health.


Responsibilities

  • Process Adverse Event (AE) and Technical Product Complaint (TPC) cases.
  • Coordinate customer reimbursements, product replacements, credits, and product return requests.
  • Process legal releases and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
  • Manage shared department email inboxes and respond to customer and internal inquiries.
  • Research product information, run reports, and prepare data for management.
  • Analyze customer interactions and identify product trends or recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with Pharmacovigilance, Quality Assurance, Customer Care, Warehouse, Sales, distributors, and third-party vendors.
  • Ensure all customer requests are completed accurately while maintaining FDA and company compliance standards.
  • Maintain and update department business processes and documentation.
  • Support departmental KPIs, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Veterinary Technology, or a related field required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in customer service, veterinary medicine, GMP compliance, complaint handling, or another regulated environment.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Experience working within validated systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of veterinary practices and procedures.
  • Knowledge of GMP, pharmacovigilance, and complaint handling requirements preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and commitment to customer service.
