Hamilton Veterinary Hospital is currently looking for a part-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team! Our mission is to care for our clients pets as though they were our own, and our front desk team plays a vital role in creating a compassionate and welcoming experience for every client and patient who walks through our doors.

What Youll Do
- Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and during high-stress situations
- Manage lobby flow, schedule appointments, and assist with client concerns
- Help handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners while ensuring safety and calm communication
- Assist clients with medication pickups, service questions, and product information
- Input and manage data within practice management software, including billing and accounts
- Process retail sales, faxes, and medical records
- Reconcile the cash drawer and complete end-of-day financial duties accurately
What Our Veterinary Receptionists Bring
- At least 1 year of experience in veterinary medicine
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Ability to perform cashier duties accurately and efficiently
- Comfort working in a fast-paced veterinary environment
- Ability to stand, walk, and work at a workstation for extended periods as needed
- Experience with Avimark is preferred but not required
- 2+ years of veterinary experience preferred
