The Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH) includes the Small Animal Hospital and the Large Animal Hospital, both of which are dedicated to the total well-being and care of a pet throughout its lifetime. What We Want
The Veterinary Pharmacy Technician I assists in the efficient operation of the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital Pharmacy to provide quality patient care. They are responsible for clear communication with faculty, staff, students, and clients about pharmacy operations.
Requirements
Salary: Starting at $17/hour, compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire's experience.
Location: College Station, TX
Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime, with the occasional weekend required. On-call coverage may be required (weekends and holidays).
Essential Responsibilities
Persons in this position are considered essential when the University declares an emergency, campus closure, class cancellations, etc., and are therefore required to report to work and remain on duty unless/until relieved by the direct supervisor.

Required Education and Experience
Associate's degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience
One year of experience in a health-related field
Preferred Qualifications
Two years' experience in a health-related field, with one year in a hospital pharmacy
Associate degree in biomedical sciences or related field
Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Knowledge in use of prescription balance
Basic pharmacy calculations
