At Thrive Pet Healthcare Fountainview, we offer primary care services for cats and dogs in the Houston area. Our services include dental care, elective surgeries, and common major procedures supported by both dental and full-body X-ray. Our team is committed to delivering excellent client experiences through education, communication, and high-quality medicine. About You
As the Medical Director, you will serve as the clinical and cultural leader of the hospital, partnering closely with the Practice Manager and Thrive leadership to guide medical standards, support team development, and drive sustainable hospital performance. This role blends hands-on clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, allowing you to shape the future of the hospital while continuing to practice high-quality medicine.
Hours Monday through Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
About the Role
As a key leader within the hospital, the Medical Director plays a critical role in setting the medical vision, maintaining standards of care, and cultivating an engaged and high-performing veterinary team. You will collaborate with hospital and regional leadership to implement best practices, support operational excellence, and ensure an exceptional patient and client experience. Your leadership will directly influence culture, medical quality, and team satisfaction.

Compensation
Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience, with a full-time salary range starting at $170,000, plus quarterly production bonuses and a Medical Director stipend. The actual salary offered will consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
