We are partnering with a well-established, multi-doctor small animal hospital in Hammond, Louisiana that is seeking an experienced Veterinarian / Medical Director to join its growing team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a veterinarian ready to step into a leadership role within a highly respected practice known for its loyal clientele, collaborative environment, and commitment to exceptional patient care.

The incoming Medical Director will help shape the hospital's clinical vision while continuing to practice high-quality medicine, mentor fellow veterinarians, and maintain meaningful clinical autonomy.

Hospital Schedule

  • Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary up to $180,000 depending on experience

About You

  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
  • Eligible for veterinary licensure in Louisiana
  • Previous leadership or mentorship experience preferred
  • Comfortable performing routine surgery and dentistry
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • Passionate about collaborative medicine and excellence in patient care
