Join Our Team at a Leading Animal Hospital

Our organization is dedicated to providing outstanding patient care while fostering a supportive and collaborative atmosphere that allows you to excel in your role. As an AAHA-accredited facility, we adhere to the highest standards of veterinary excellence and integrity, consistently striving to enhance the quality of our medical services. We offer a blend of comprehensive general practice and critical emergency care, providing the variety and challenges you seek in your next position.

By becoming a member of our team, you will engage in a culture focused on continuous learning and long-term professional growth. We empower our staff to reach their full potential, whether your goal is to become a credentialed technician, step into a leadership position, or refine a new surgical skill. Our flexible scheduling and collaborative workflows ensure that every team member feels appreciated and can concentrate on patient outcomes without the risk of burnout.

The high standard of care at our hospital is supported by advanced diagnostic tools and compassionate, thorough treatment. Working with us means having access to state-of-the-art equipment necessary for handling complex emergency and urgent cases. Our medical leadership promotes case collaboration, and you will have opportunities for internal specialty consultations to address complicated patient needs. This commitment to ongoing education guarantees that you will continually expand your knowledge and uphold the standards expected of an AAHA-accredited facility.

Located in Wauwatosa, a charming suburb just minutes from downtown Milwaukee, our community offers a delightful blend of historic appeal and modern conveniences. Known for its picturesque streets, excellent educational institutions, and a lively village area filled with unique shops and dining options, Wauwatosa provides a high quality of life. If you appreciate a community atmosphere with easy access to urban amenities, including professional sports, museums, and Lake Michigan, Wauwatosa is the perfect place to call home.

Additional Information About Our Hospital and Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a motivated veterinarian who is eager to be part of a growing and evolving hospital dedicated to its community. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude and recognize the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine in a fully equipped facility. You will be supported by a collaborative team and have the chance to significantly influence the practice's direction.

We value work-life balance for our clinical talent. While our facility operates extended hours to serve the community, we are committed to creating a schedule that works for the right candidate. This role offers flexibility in structuring your working hours, and we welcome discussions about what your ideal schedule looks like. This position is not a "one size fits all" role; your input on scheduling will be appreciated from the outset.

  • Interest In: Small-animal general practice, including wellness exams, preventative care, diagnostics, dental care, soft tissue surgery, senior wellness, pain management, vaccinations, and client education, with opportunities to engage in urgent and emergency care. This position provides exposure to same-day urgent and emergency cases while maintaining a solid foundation in general practice, making it ideal for veterinarians who enjoy variety and clinical development.
  • Open to New Graduates or Experienced Veterinarians: We welcome both new graduates and seasoned veterinarians. New graduates will find a supportive environment that fosters confidence in general practice and urgent care cases, while experienced doctors can practice comprehensive medicine and share their expertise in a dynamic setting.
  • Supportive, Experienced Technical Staff: Our compassionate support team is skilled in both routine and urgent care workflows. Technicians collaborate closely with veterinarians to assist with diagnostics, imaging, anesthesia, treatment, and client communication, allowing veterinarians to focus on medical decision-making.
  • Facility Layout: Our AAHA-accredited, full-service facility features multiple exam rooms, treatment areas, surgical and dental suites, an in-house laboratory, digital radiology, and an in-house pharmacy, designed to accommodate both scheduled appointments and urgent/emergency cases.
  • Collaborative Team Environment: We foster a team-oriented culture that values communication, mentorship, and high-quality patient care. Doctors and support staff work together to provide thoughtful medical care while supporting each other during routine and high-acuity cases.
  • Diverse Patient Mix: Our caseload includes wellness and preventative care, same-day urgent visits, and emergency cases, allowing veterinarians to grow at their own pace while gaining experience across a wide range of small-animal medicine.
