The Venture Pipeline Analyst plays a critical role in supporting venture investment teams by organizing, tracking, and analyzing deal flow from initial sourcing through investment decision. This role sits at the intersection of sourcing, diligence, and execution, ensuring the investment team has clear visibility into pipeline health, deal progression, and decision timelines.
Analysts collaborate closely with investors, sourcing teams, and operations professionals to maintain efficient investment processes and data-driven decision-making.
Manage and maintain the firm’s venture deal pipeline across all stages (sourced, screened, diligenced, approved, closed)
Track inbound and outbound deal flow using CRM and internal pipeline management tools
Prepare pipeline dashboards, weekly deal flow summaries, and investment status reports
Coordinate initial screening processes and ensure timely follow-ups with founders
Support diligence workflows by organizing materials, data rooms, and internal review notes
Analyze pipeline trends, conversion rates, and sourcing effectiveness across channels
Assist with investment committee preparation, including pipeline reviews and deal memos
Collaborate with sourcing and investment teams to improve pipeline efficiency and prioritization
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, analytics, or a related field
Strong interest in venture capital, startups, and investment operations
Experience in investment banking, consulting, venture internships, operations, or analytics roles is helpful
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and process discipline
Comfortable working with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical, structured, and motivated by improving systems and workflows
