We are looking for a talented Emerging Brands Vendor Manager (VM), who will be responsible for managing vendor relationships across all Amazon banners and setting the strategic direction for their vendors and sales agency partners. The ideal candidate possesses experience in buying, marketing and/or finance with a track record of successful relationship management, strong analytical acumen, and experience generating and managing data. Great communication skills and understanding of Excel will be essential to their success. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who will take ownership of projects and business problems to deliver results. Key job responsibilities Our environment is fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous. This requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, analytical and comfortable working with multiple teams, vendors, and other stakeholders. On a day to day basis, you will: Support strategic negotiations with vendors and represent Amazon when meeting with vendor partners / agency partners and their leadership Develop long-term strategies and influence cross-category plans - delivering on Amazon"s goals and objectives while obsessing over Customers Work cross functionally, both within Amazon and your assigned vendors / agencies Create opportunities for growth, customer acquisition, and brand-building Audit metrics regularly, determine and prioritize business opportunities, identify risks and make recommendations to deliver results Identify industry trends and develop innovative marketing and merchandising initiatives to support growth
