Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Testing & Telematics Engineer to validate connected vehicle systems, telematics control units (TCU), infotainment systems, and in-vehicle communication networks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting vehicle-level and subsystem testing to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance of connected vehicle features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle-level testing and validation of telematics and connected vehicle features.
  • Test and validate TCU functionality, OTA (Over-the-Air) updates, remote services, and mobile app integrations.
  • Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of vehicle systems.
  • Analyze CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and UDS diagnostic communications using industry-standard tools.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and validation procedures.
  • Conduct drive testing and field validation activities.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and vehicle communication issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering, software development, cybersecurity, and product teams.
  • Validate GPS, cellular connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cloud-connected services.
  • Support issue investigation, root cause analysis, and defect tracking.
  • Prepare test reports, metrics, and validation documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive quality and safety standards.

  • Experience performing vehicle testing in lab and field environments.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with OEMs such as Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Stellantis, or automotive suppliers.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity testing and ISO 21434.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and connected services.
  • Familiarity with autonomous vehicle and ADAS systems.
