Introduction
We are seeking an engineering-focused vehicle technician to support the readiness of our fleet vehicles. The role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and contributing to the operations of our lab, including scheduled service, diagnostics, repair coordination, lab space fit/function, and general upkeep.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4 years of automotive experience.
- Automotive degree or trade school certificate highly recommended; ASE certifications a plus.
- Advanced diagnostic capability and in-depth knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems.
- Prior work experience in a similar industry or role.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with BUS communication and HV circuits.
- Proficiency in using advanced tools like Canalyzer to log and analyze data.
- Experience interfacing with engineers and management for escalations and process improvements.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead repairs and streamline processes for efficiency.
- Mentor and train Level 1 and 2 technicians.
- Provide feedback on repair instructions and suggest serviceability improvements.
- Diagnose complex issues independently with minimal supervision.
