We are seeking an engineering-focused vehicle technician to support the readiness of our fleet vehicles. The role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and contributing towards the operations of our lab. This includes scheduled service, diagnostics, repair coordination, lab space fit/function, and general upkeep.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3 years automotive experience
Automotive degree or trade school certificate recommended; ASE certifications a plus
Demonstrates practical application of diagnostic skills and advanced mechanical knowledge
Prior work experience in the industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience with advanced diagnostic tools (e.g., Firefly)
Experience with soldering connections and crimping terminals
Forklift and/or gantry operation experience
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Perform advanced diagnostic checks (e.g., voltage drops, continuity checks)
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including shorts and open circuits
Execute general vehicle deploys and log collection
Follow wiring diagrams and repair instructions with minimal guidance
Implement known workarounds and escalate unresolved issues via appropriate channels
Submit ZPT tickets and effectively communicate issues via collaboration platforms
