Full-Time Automotive Photographer – East Bay Area


Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (or until work is completed)
Service Area: Berkeley, Oakland, San Leandro & Surrounding East Bay Cities
Pay:$24.00+ per hour(base pay + per-vehicle photo commission)

Are you looking for a hands-on role where you can work independently, stay active, and learn new skills? Pro-MotionPix is hiring a Full-Time Automotive Photographer to capture professional vehicle photos and videos at auto dealerships in the East Bay. We provide all the equipment you need, including a company-issued iPhone, plus paid training—no experience required!


As a Dealership Photographer, you’ll help automotive dealerships showcase their inventory online through high-quality images, spins, and videos. Your work will directly impact how vehicles are seen by car buyers searching online, making you a vital part of each dealership’s success.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Travel to assigned dealerships across Berkeley, Oakland, San Leandro, and surrounding cities

  • Use a company-provided iPhone and mobile app to capture high-quality photos, video walkarounds, and 360° spins of cars, trucks, and SUVs

  • Move and stage vehicles to prepare them for photography

  • Communicate with dealership staff about vehicle readiness, missing keys, or other availability issues

  • Ensure all inventory is photographed quickly and consistently

What We’re Looking For:


No automotive or photography experience? No problem—we’ll train you! We’re hiring dependable, motivated individuals who:


  • Have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license

  • Are comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Are self-motivated, well-organized, and able to manage time independently

  • Are comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles (preferred, but not required)

  • Have strong communication and customer service skills

  • Are interested in learning more about car photography, dealership operations, or the automotive industry

Job Requirements:


  • Personal vehicle and valid driver’s license

  • Manual transmission driving ability is a plus

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using mobile apps

  • Comfortable performing physical tasks, including walking, bending, and vehicle staging

  • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility
