We are looking for a dynamic and experienced VDC Manager to join our fast-paced Construction team. This role is integral to our operations and involves managing and supporting BIM and VDC production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with a keen understanding of the latest technologies and platforms in the industry. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead and shape the future of our company's engineering processes, working closely with IT staff, office staff, and project staff to ensure seamless interoffice collaboration.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and support BIM and VDC production operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
2. Foster strong interoffice collaboration with IT staff, office staff, and project staff to ensure seamless integration of BIM and VDC platforms into everyday operations.
3. Develop and implement strategies to optimize the use of BIM and VDC technologies, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
4. Provide technical support and training to staff on BIM and VDC platforms, ensuring all staff are up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
5. Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure all engineering projects are delivered on time and within budget.
6. Monitor industry trends and advancements in BIM and VDC technologies, making recommendations for new tools and processes that can enhance our engineering operations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing and supporting BIM and VDC production operations.
3. Excellent technical skills, with proficiency in BIM and VDC platforms and related technologies.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to foster interoffice collaboration and drive team performance.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
7. Up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends and advancements in BIM and VDC technologies.
8. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities as needed.
