Job Description:

Schedule: Full Time 3 12s Thursday-Saturday 7am-7pm

Location: Oviedo Outpatient Imaging, Oviedo, FL

Sign on Bonus: Up to $10k

• Attends department meetings and engages in positive dialogue to support department objectives.

• Obtains high-quality scans by following proper exam protocols and adapting procedures to each patient's medical situation.

• Other duties as assigned. Confirms patient and exam accuracy using two patient identifiers before administering exams.

• Performs, documents, and reports all procedures in accordance with departmental policy.

• Reviews images and completes ultrasound worksheets promptly, re-scanning patients as requested by Radiologists.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Abdomen, Abdominal Doppler, OB/Gyn, Small Parts, Vascular, and Interventional Sonographic procedures [Required]
• Ability to learn and master new tasks related to the computer and AGFA Pacs system [Required]
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds [Required]
• Ability to function independently with little or no supervision [Required]
• Ability to read and write legibly in English and perform basic mathematics skills [Required]

Education:

• Associate [Preferred]

Field of Study:

• N/A

Work Experience:

• 2+ years experience in vascular sonography [Preferred]

Additional Information:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologies RT (BS Preferred

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT [Required] OR
• Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography (R.T.(VS(ARRT [Required] OR
• Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS [Required]

Pay Range:

$28.68 - $53.35
