The facility maintains modern imaging capabilities to support complex procedural interventions and serves the Bakersfield community with specialized interventional services.

The clinician will provide comprehensive interventional radiology services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with call coverage outside clinic hours. Daily responsibilities include performing 22-23 interventional procedures including arthrograms, injections, biopsies, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and stent placement procedures. The position requires board certification in Vascular/Interventional Radiology and maintaining weekend 24-hour call coverage throughout the assignment period.

• Case Load/PPD: 22-23 procedures per day
• Support Staff: cases are supervised by IR but performed by RPA and NP, also we have a 2nd provider on-site twice a week)
