About The Role:
As a CBRE VAS - Senior Vice President, you will be responsible for and set growth and develop strategies for local or regional appraisal practice.
This job is part of the Valuation function. They are responsible for inspecting and resolving values of land, property, and businesses.
What You'll Do:
Set the regional appraisal growth strategy by quantifying the market size, competitors, and position.
Identify the value of a property for estimate. Study theappraisal request and project scope to define business solutions.
Review data on the inventory of comparable properties, sales and listings, vacancies, and more.
Follow the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, keeping information confidential.
Communicate strategy to senior management. Supply regular reports on progress and metrics. Understand revenue and profitability.
Identify mergers and acquisition opportunities. Participate in budget conversations with management.
Present data of other properties, sales, listings, and more to review markets.
Track value of real estate and the potential for development of property.
Apply extensive and diversified knowledge of principles, sophisticated techniques, and theories to build outstanding solutions.
Demonstrate deep knowledge of groundbreaking theories, techniques, and/or technologies within own function.
Use expertise in various job areas to mentor and support others effectively.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Negotiates with senior management, customers, regulators, or vendors to influence decisions of strategic importance. Anticipate potential objections, and persuade others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.
Drive the direction and prioritization for programs, projects, or services.
Significantly impact the design of policies and procedures. Provide moderate impact on the business direction through the development of innovative services or products.

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) with 12 years of commercial appraisal experience required. Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred. General State Certification or License in at least one state and MAI designation required.
Multi-dimensional, conceptual, and innovative thinking to develop new solutions.
Ability to identify and solves the most complex problems.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Expert organizational skills with an unparalleled inquisitive approach.
Guide math skills. Ability to calculate sophisticated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine the compensation structure for this role, including a candidate's education, training, licensing, skills and experience. This role's compensation structure includes a minimum and maximum base salary and additional incentive compensation such as fee splits and other incentives. The minimum base salary for the VAS - Senior Vice President is $47,500 annually and the maximum base salary for the VAS - Senior Vice President is $70,304 annually. The compensation potential that a successful candidate can receive will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, performance, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
