Job Description: The School District of Athens seeks candidates for a Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach beginning in the 2026-27 season. This is a part-time position, and not eligible for benefits.
Job Responsibilities
• Plan and conduct structured practices and training sessions
• Teach fundamental and advanced volleyball skills (serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking, defense)
• Develop game strategies and analyze opponent performance
• Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
• Ensure athlete safety and enforce rules and regulations
• Organize team travel, equipment, and match logistics
• Communicate effectively with players, parents (if applicable), and athletic staff
• Maintain records of performance, attendance, and progress
