Job Title: Varsity Boys Head Basketball Coach

Reports To: Kaleb Farnham, 6-12 Principal, Director of Alternative Education

Qualifications:

• Possess strong leadership, integrity and character development skills.
• Possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrate exceptional knowledge regarding the skills and strategies of a successful basketball program.
• Prior successful varsity coaching experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Set a culture that emphasizes the importance and responsibility of being a student-athlete, ensuring that all athletes are meeting eligibility and attendance requirements and demonstrating strong character in the classroom.
• Foster a positive culture in which student-athletes develop leadership, social skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and the value of representing self, school, and community through athletics.
• Promote the basketball program in a positive manner within the school community, including connecting with and supporting the development of our youth programming.
• Demonstrate current knowledge of strength and conditioning programs for basketball

and execute such programs within the parameters of the school's regulations.

• Promote and emphasize the importance of basketball players being multi-sport athletes at CC-C.
