Job DescriptionThe Valve Technician Assistant will support valve technicians in rebuilding and testing pressure safety valves (PSVs) in both shop and field environments. This role is ideal for candidates with mechanical aptitude looking to gain hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
Assist with rebuilding and testing pressure safety valves (PSVs)
Support technicians in both shop and field settings
Use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
Follow safety procedures and company protocols
Qualifications
Mechanical background preferred
Familiarity with hand tools required
Oilfield experience is a plus
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Schedule
Start times may vary depending on job site:
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
6:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Requirements
Clean driving record required
Must be able to pass a drug test (DOT-regulated environment)
Ability to work in both shop and field conditions
