Join the team powering and connecting the world

Prysmian leads the global cable systems industry—spanning underground and submarine power transmission, medium/low-voltage infrastructure, and telecom solutions from optical fiber to copper connectivity. With ~29,000 employees across 52 countries, we invite you to shape what comes next. Make Your Mark at Prysmian.

Your mandate

  • Own and deploy the site’s Lean strategy through Hoshin Kanri—aligned directly to business goals.
  • Partner with the Site Director to focus resources on the highest-value opportunities.
  • Deliver step-change results across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth with verifiable metrics.

What you’ll do

  • Lead targeted Kaizen that improves flow, removes constraints, and transforms cost structures.
  • Focus on high-volume, high-revenue value streams and insist on auditable, sustained outcomes.
  • Institutionalize daily management, visual systems, and standard work to lock in gains.
  • Coach leaders and teams so Lean thinking shows up in everyday decisions—not just projects.
  • Challenge, influence, and align senior stakeholders—even without direct authority.
  • Build a pipeline of future Lean leaders by developing operators, supervisors, and managers as problem solvers.

Why this role is different

  • Direct line to the Site Director and site leadership team.
  • Authority to make tough calls on priorities—what to do and what to stop.
  • A performance mandate measured by business impact, not activity counts.

Tired of CI roles where leadership “talks Lean” but won’t commit, where events don’t stick, or where you lack influence? Step into an environment designed for real change.

Profile we’re seeking

Core experience

  • Manufacturing-based Lean Black Belt or CI leader with evidence of measurable improvement (cost, throughput, lead time, etc.).
  • Expertise in Value Stream Transformation; Flow and Pull systems; Hoshin Kanri; SMED, TPM, and Standard Work; Daily Management and Visual Systems.
  • Ability to shift behaviors and culture while influencing leaders across functions.
  • Relentless focus on impact over activity.

Stand-out differentiators

  • TPS, Danaher, or similar Lean operating system experience.
  • Analytics depth: SPC, regression, hypothesis testing.
  • Formal change leadership (PROSCI, Agile, etc.).

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s in engineering (industrial strongly preferred).
  • 3–5 years in manufacturing with hands-on leadership in Kaizen/Continuous Improvement.
  • Proficiency: Gemba Kaizen, Value Stream Analysis, Visual & Daily Management, Hoshin Kanri, SMED, TPM, Standard Work Development, and 3P layout.
  • Demonstrated success facilitating Kaizen events and mentoring future Lean talent.
  • Track record leading cost-reduction and process flow improvements.
  • Fluency with Lean tools: 3P, TAKT time, Standard Work Combination Sheets, Standard WIP, Kaizen Newspaper.
  • Strong prioritization, deadline management, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced setting.
  • Capability to provide leadership and strategic direction within a site leadership team.

Preferred

  • Lean Master on TPS or Danaher Business System certification.
  • Project management success meeting timelines or adapting to achieve goals.
  • Agile certification such as SCALE.
  • Change management certification such as PROSCI.
  • Analytical depth in SPC, hypothesis testing, regression, correlation analysis.
  • Structured problem-solving approaches: 5-Whys, 8D, Shainin.

Impact

Own the transformation, build what lasts, and operate as a strategic partner to the business.
