Position: UX Designer
Location: Malvern, PA, 19355
Duration: 6 Months
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Work Type: Hybrid
Job Description:
  • We are seeking a UX Designer to join the Digital Advice Platform (DAP) team. This role will play a critical part in evolving Client's digital advice experience, with a particular focus on translating and optimizing existing web experiences for mobile platforms while helping shape future mobile-first solutions.
  • The designer will partner closely with product managers, developers, researchers, content strategists, and fellow designers to create intuitive, scalable experiences that help clients navigate complex financial decisions with confidence. This role offers the opportunity to influence experiences across the DAP ecosystem while contributing to shared design patterns and standards that drive consistency, accessibility, and usability.
We are looking for someone who:
  • Has experience designing intuitive digital experiences across web channels, mobile experience preferred.
  • Is passionate about mobile design and creating experiences that feel native, seamless, and user-centered.
  • Can thoughtfully translate existing experiences into mobile-friendly solutions while identifying opportunities to improve and simplify.
  • Thrives on solving complex problems through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Values strong partnerships with product managers, developers, researchers, and content strategists.
  • Enjoys contributing to and evolving shared design systems, patterns, and best practices.
  • Brings curiosity, creativity, and a strong advocacy for client-centered design.
  • This is an opportunity to help shape the future of Client's digital advice experiences and deliver meaningful value to millions of clients.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Designs user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces for experiences across web and mobile platforms, with a strong emphasis on mobile optimization and usability.
  • Partners with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives, user needs, and research insights into intuitive and impactful digital experiences.
  • Collaborates with researchers and analytics partners to incorporate qualitative and quantitative data into design decisions.
  • Helps define and evolve design patterns, component libraries, and experience standards that drive consistency across DAP experiences.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify complex workflows and improve the end-to-end client experience.
  • Leverages experimentation and user feedback to validate design solutions and inform future enhancements.
  • Advocates for user-centered design while balancing business goals, technical feasibility, and accessibility requirements.
  • Stays current on emerging design trends, mobile best practices, and industry innovations.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Minimum three years of experience in UX design, product design, or a related field.
  • Experience designing responsive and/or mobile experiences.
  • Strong proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and communicating design decisions.
  • Familiarity with design systems and scalable design practices.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience in a creative, technical, or related field.
  • This version feels much more transferable across DAP while clearly signaling that the primary need is mobile enablement and modernization of existing experiences, rather than net-new product design alone. That should help attract strong UX designers who have mobile expertise without making it a dedicated mobile-only role.

WE THE TEKWISSEN PEOPLE

TekWissen offers you a broader portfolio of services, industry-leading solutions, and the meaningful innovations that give you greater flexibility and speed to respond to market dynamics, reduced costs and risk to improve enterprise performance, and increased productivity to enable growth.

To keep pace with global market demands, TekWissen keeps its finger on the pulse of change. Our organized approach to guiding a project from its inception to closure. Managing projects is becoming more and more important as we enter the digital era. To cope with the pace that this transition demands, a method is required to manage projects so they can yield quality work, while incorporating efficient use of time and resources.

Project involves identifying which quality standards are relevant to the project and determining how to satisfy them.

It is important to perform quality planning during the Planning Process and should be done alongside the other project planning processes because changes in the quality will likely require changes in the other planning processes, or the desired product quality may require a detailed risk analysis of an identified problem. It is important to remember that quality should be planned, designed, then built in, not added on after the fact.

Capabilities and accomplishments in one TekWissen business enhance the opportunity for success in the others. Put simply, TekWissen's unique combination of attributes promotes success.
