Step into the field with swissQprint America

Picture your Monday morning: you’re wheels-up to a customer site, toolbox and laptop in tow, ready to bring a high-precision UV LED flatbed or roll-to-roll printer to life. By midweek, you’re optimizing print quality, diagnosing an electrical signal on an axis drive, and coaching operators on best practices. Friday finds you back at our Elgin office, restoring a trade‑in unit and fine‑tuning demo printers for the next showcase. That’s a week in the life of a swissQprint Field Service Engineer.

We build industry-leading large‑format printers—and we stand behind them with best‑in‑class service. If you’re curious, hands‑on, and energized by solving complex problems for customers, this fast‑moving role offers real impact and room to grow.

What you’ll take on

  • Install, commission, maintain, and repair UV flatbed and roll‑to‑roll printers across the U.S. (travel 40%–75%).
  • Own your travel logistics—book, coordinate, and optimize your trips; keep any points or loyalty rewards you earn.
  • Provide remote hotline support when not on the road via phone, email, and TeamViewer‑style tools.
  • Refurbish trade‑in machines and maintain demo units at our Elgin, IL facility.
  • Collaborate with 2nd‑level support and engineering teams in Switzerland to drive product improvements.
