Utility - Truck Driver

Southeast Texas HR is a leader in recruiting and HR services and is currently seeking a Part-time and Full-time Utility -Truck Driver for a hospital and health care setting. In this role, the Utility -Truck Driver will be responsible for assisting customers, assisting in food preparation, delivering prepared food to various departments, driving safely, keeping work area and utensils clean. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, and be able to follow procedures and safety regulations. This can become a temp-to-perm position for the ideal candidate. Pay will be $13.87+ per hour, DOE. In this position you have to available to work everyday of the week including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Follow all rules of safe food handling and preparation
  
• Safely operate company vehicles
  
• Deliver prepared foods to various departments
  
• Prep food for pre-delivery and orders
  
• Inspect food items for quality standards
  
• Provide outstanding customer service
  
• Complete prep work and clean workstation
  
• Complete all tasks in a timely and efficient manner
  
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
  

Requirements

• 2 or more years of food preparation experience.
  
• Have a clear driving record.
  
• Have a valid TX Driver's License.
  
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  
• Ability to follow procedures and safety regulations.
  
• Valid Food Handling certificate is a plus.
  
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
  
• Must be 25 years of age or older for insurance reasons.
  
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  
• Must be able to obtain your immunization record.
