We are an award‑winning employer seeking a Utility Steward (Dishwasher) to play an essential role in the daily operations of our kitchen within a luxury senior living residence. This is an important support position that goes beyond dishwashing and helps keep our culinary team running smoothly and safely.

In this role, you’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment by washing and sanitizing kitchen equipment, china, glassware, and flatware, as well as supporting overall back‑of‑house operations. You’ll assist with the safe use and storage of cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment, support food rotation and labeling, and help with the breakdown, organization, and storage of fresh food deliveries. You may also assist with special projects or help support our restaurants as needed.

This position is full-time, flexible days, 12:00pm-8:00pm or 2:00pm-10:00pm shift. Weekend, and holiday availability required. 

Essential Functions:

  • Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen, equipment supplies, pots/pans, small wares, china glass and silver according to established safety standards and regulations.
  • Percent of time spent performing this function.
  • Cleans kitchen floors, following standard procedures.

  • Applies knowledge and safe use and storage of chemicals and equipment.

  • Maintains and records data on required logs per Mather policies and procedures.

  • Completes daily and weekly cleaning assignments per task lists.

  • Regularly empties trash containers shift, cleans garbage cans and properly operates compactor.

  • Minimizes loss and breakage through proper use, cleaning and storage of equipment and supplies.

The hourly base wage range provided is a good faith estimate of what Mather reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting. The actual hourly rate offered will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, certifications, years of experience, geographic location, and current market conditions. This position may be eligible to participate in Mather’s benefit plan and the Team Member Appreciation Fund, if applicable. Eligibility for benefits is dependent on employment status and hours worked per pay period. Hourly Pay Range

$17.25 - $18USD
