Overview --------
The Utility Operator assists with transporting full skids of finished product to the skid wrapper for final wrapping.
Purpose --------
The Utility Operator plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest safety, food safety, and quality cost and GMP standards in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
Tasks ------
• Ensures correct number of cartons is placed on skid in the correct configuration. • Provides packaging line with needed quantities of secondary packaging material to sustain continual operations. • Completes assigned documentation in an accurate and timely manner. • Verifies and validates the accuracy and legibility of all case code dates throughout assigned shift.
Food Safety and Quality Responsibilities -----------------------------------------
The Utility Operator is responsible for:
• Following HACCP and Food Safety principles and verifying compliance to all Critical Control points and Preventative Quality Checkpoints to ensure a safe quality product is produced consistently. • Reporting food safety and quality issues and initiating action as necessary. • Following all Food Safety guidelines, including: • GMPs • Allergen Program • Quality • HACCP • Sanitation • Safety
