Sun up on the Gulf Coast. Your fully outfitted service truck hums to life — crane, welder, and compressor ready — as you roll toward a utility yard in East Texas. A bucket truck needs diagnostics before crews head out. By afternoon, you’re in southern Mississippi swapping hydraulic components on a digger derrick, and before dusk you’re validating a crane’s LMI and wrapping a DOT inspection. That’s a day in the life for our Utility Fleet Field Service Technician.

What you’ll take on

• Field diagnostics, maintenance, and repair for aerial devices, construction equipment, and light- through heavy-duty trucks — including bucket trucks, digger derricks, cranes, service trucks, and more.
• Hands-on work across diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems, from troubleshooting to component replacement.
• Perform and document inspections (DOT, dielectric testing, and general condition) on CTOS rental assets and customer-owned equipment.
• Travel directly to customer sites and job locations, often coordinating work independently and closing service tickets in the field.

Territory and travel

• Primary coverage: Louisiana, Mississippi, East Texas, and Western Alabama.
• Expect 60–80%+ travel with regular overnights.
• Frequent assignments along the Gulf Coast supporting oil, gas, and utility operations.

What you bring

• 7+ years of shop and field experience with utility, construction (yellow iron), or heavy equipment (CAT, Deere, Komatsu) and medium/heavy-duty trucks.
• Proven skill across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Self-directed, organized, and confident working solo and alongside a team.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL Class B is a plus. Personal tools required.
