Utility Engineer

Organization Hyatt Regency Orlando AirportSummary General maintenance repairs to hotel and trouble calls. Public area and guest room preventative maintenance. Basic troubleshooting skills required (electricity, plumbing, etc.). Utility Engineer is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and construction of building components to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of the facility. This position performs a wide variety of skilled carpentry work, including repairing doors, frames, cabinetry, drywall, ceilings, flooring, trim, furniture, and other interior and exterior building finishes.Qualifications Three or more years of commercial carpentry or building maintenance experience preferred.Knowledge of general building construction, woodworking techniques, and repair methods.Ability to safely use carpentry tools and equipment.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders, scaffolding, or lifts as required.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Laundry and kitchen machine troubleshooting experience is a plus.EEO Statement All qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.#J-18808-Ljbffr
