US Citizenship
Bachelor's degree with 0 - 1 years of experience, or in lieu of degree at least 4-5 years of experience
Experience in outbound traffic coordination, freight operations, or logistics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to process high volumes of documents accurately in a fast-paced environment
Experience filing AES / EEI export declarations; knowledge of U.S. export regulations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills ability to interface with customers, leadership, and compliance teams
Job Summary:
The CV Distribution Center is seeking a contract Traffic & Inventory Coordinator to support its Traffic and Inventory Department. This role operates in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to process documentation accurately at speed. The candidate will interface with external customers, freight forwarders, International Trade Compliance, Spares leadership, and various internal teams.
Key Responsibilities: Field Service
Interpret shipping documents to determine optimal carrier selection, service level, and delivery requirements in a cost-effective manner
Plan and execute outbound shipments via FedEx, UPS, DHL, and international freight forwarders
File export documentation in AES (Automated Export System) in full compliance with applicable export regulations
Coordinate with internal customer support to prioritize and fulfill airline customer orders by required ship dates, including AOG requirements
Research and analyze inventory discrepancies; assist with inventory accuracy, transactions, and internal customer requests
Coordinate with the Inventory Control team to resolve stock availability issues impacting shipments
Maintain accurate shipment and inventory records in SAP
Support continuous improvement initiatives using ACE, CORE, and Lean Manufacturing tools
Adapt to ongoing process changes and contribute to department development efforts
Preferred Requirements: Field Service
Experience with ACE, CORE, or Lean Manufacturing methodologies
Background working with international freight forwarders
Familiarity with SAP or comparable WMS/ERP system
