    The Opportunity

    Lonestar Forklift is looking for a Used Equipment Sales Representative to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a highly entrepreneurial sales role where you will be responsible for growing used equipment sales within your assigned territory by developing new customer relationships, managing existing accounts, and delivering tailored material handling solutions.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    As the Used Equipment Sales Representative for Lonestar, your key responsibilities will include:

    • Leading the used equipment sales strategy within your assigned territory.
    • Prospecting for new business, managing sales leads, and securing new customer accounts by offering tailored used equipment solutions and tactfully negotiating to close deals.
    • Identifying and building relationships with decision makers within existing customer accounts while creating long-term account growth strategies.
    • Managing key customer accounts by retaining and growing existing business while proactively identifying opportunities for additional equipment sales.
    • Sourcing, evaluating, and matching used equipment inventory to customer needs.
    • Ensuring success against sales goals while maintaining consistent customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
    • Following up with customers on equipment availability, quotes, orders, and delivery schedules.
    • Collaborating with service, parts, rental, and new equipment sales teams to identify cross-selling opportunities and deliver complete customer solutions.
    • Monitoring competitor activity, market trends, equipment availability, and pricing to remain competitive and overcome customer objections.
    • Maintaining accurate customer records, sales activities, and opportunities within the CRM system.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

    • 1–3 years of previous direct B2B sales experience preferred.
    • Experience in equipment, industrial, construction, agriculture, automotive, or material handling sales is considered an asset.
    • Post-secondary education in Sales, Business Management, or a related discipline is considered an asset.
    • Maintaining a valid driver's license is required.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.
    • Previous CRM system experience preferred.
    • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Confident and resilient, with a willingness to continuously learn and grow.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.
    • English language proficiency required; Spanish language proficiency is a strong asset.

    This position offers an annual base salary, initial bridge salary, and uncapped commission.

    This is an onsite role based in Fort Worth, Texas.
